Attachment Style Test
Secure, anxious, or avoidant โ which are you? ยท 9 questions ยท Free
If every relationship seems to come apart at roughly the same point, the common factor probably isn't the people you keep choosing. Attachment theory describes three broad ways of bonding โ secure, anxious and avoidant โ and a great many couples stuck in the same argument about reply times are really an anxious style and an avoidant style talking straight past each other.
These nine questions cover texting, conflict, affection and how much space feels comfortable, and give you a quick read on which way you lean. Knowing your own style turns "why do I always do this" into "right, this is how I'm wired," which is a far easier place to work from. Knowing your partner's turns about half your arguments into useful information instead. It's a good one to take together.
This is a light version made for self-reflection. It isn't a clinical assessment and it doesn't replace talking to a professional.
